River of Life Worship Centre is a church in the Durham Region with a heart
for reaching the lost while maturing spiritually.
After the great price our Lord paid for us, believers
should be living the life He died to give us. Unfortunately today’s Church is only a shadow of what we are called to
be. We believe this is due in part to lack of teaching but mostly the inability to discern the voice of the Holy Spirit.
Because of this River of Life has a strong desire to teach believers how to know the voice of the
Holy Spirit and how to implement the Word of God in their daily lives.
Pastors Alain and Jamie are married and have two children. Pastor Alain,
a graduate of Elim Bible Institute, has been in ministry since 1998 serving in various capacities. Pastor Jamie has been in
ministry since 1991 fulfilling the call to minister in any area needed. Their ministry experience and roles together
include: Youth Pastors, Worship Pastor, various areas of Children's Ministry, Eldership, Church treasurer, Assistant pastors
and now Senior Pastors. They served in most of these roles at My Father's House Christian Fellowship in Aylmer, Quebec
for almost 12 years until the Lord led them to plant a church in Oshawa in 2007. They are now the Senior Pastors of
River of Life Worship Centre, are ordained through Eagles Wings Inc. and are affiliated with Friends in Harvest.
Michael and Donna O'Brien are also a part of the pastoral team at River of Life. They were radically born-again
in 1975 and started right away in different ministry roles until about 15 years ago when they said "yes" to
the call of full-time Pastoring. The Lord has since called them out of the pastoral role and moved them to
a place of mentoring the next generation of leaders within the Body of Christ. They are a real 'father' and
'mother' in the faith with a heart for the 'family' of God. (To find out more about Michael and Donna

At River of Life Worship
Centre our strongest desire is to have a passionate relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ and then to pass that along,
to be led by the Holy Spirit in our daily lives and to help usher in REVIVAL.
We know that we do
not have all the answers but rather are a piece of the puzzle for what God is doing in the earth today.
